South Scotland Regional Training 15th January

I took part in the South Scotland Regional Training day on Saturday at the Furnace Tea Rooms as a way of getting some experience and prelude to completing my open water instructor certification.
Acting as a body for a Trainee, we practiced a couple of skills, first as a recipient and then donor for the AAS drills, before enjoying some recreational diving. I can not recommend too strongly how useful it was to dive with new people from a different club which gives the opportunity to look at and learn from other people.

I have added the link to their training schedule here. If anyone wishes to attend, either to get some additional training or just have a recreational dive, then all you need to do is get in touch with the Dive Manager listed in the schedule.

Conditions at the Tea Room were sheltered with a low chop but no swell. Vis was 5m + and the water still warm.

Is this bootlace worm going to eat the shimp ?
