Catterline and Tod Head point 29th August 2010

Sunday saw a slight change in direction with a trip to Catterline – (6 miles south of Stonehaven), Six of us headed out on the sunny & Windy morning.

After launching the boat and fixing a small technical problem we dived just below the Lighthouse at Todhead Point, The sediment there was easy to stir up but the Trade off in Marine Life was great, Lots of Lobsters, Crabs, Few Flat fish, Nudibranch, Feather Stars and Caves to Explore.

I believe there were parts of the Old Fog Horns to be found just to the North of the point which Chris and Hamish found.

After a fun first dive we headed back to the Harbour and Lunch, Unfortunately the Swell started coming in from the North East and after a brief dip in the Harbour we headed home.
