Diving the Garvalachs

Plaice at the Garvalachs

With a calm forecast predicted on the west coast four of us headed off to the West Coast of Scotland for a days Scuba Diving Near The Isle of  Seil, after launching the boat at Cuan Sound we head south west towards the Garvalachs (Islands of the Sea) which a reputed to have great visibility and wildlife.  After taking a tour round the Islands we stopped for a dive on the Eastern side of the Islands, there was lots to see including Place, Snakelock Anemones and a few other species including a Funnel type of worm or anemome that you don’t see else where.  After returning to Cuan Sound for Lunch we headed across to do a nice little drift dive and then after a short drive back to the north of the Isle of Seil popped into the “Tigh an Truish” Pub  (house of the trousers) for a pint before heading home.
